Betty Oliver, 85, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville.
She was born July 20, 1937 in Bullfrog Valley, north of Dover, to the late John Alec and Ada (Hutchins) Ragsdale. Betty spent her working years alongside her husband, Fred in their family taxidermy business. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed anything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping and horses. Betty was of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Keith Hundley and three siblings.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Fred Oliver of Clarksville; two daughters, Charlotte Hundley of Westcliffe, Colorado and Judith Oliver of Quartzite, Arizona; four grandchildren; a brother, Burl Ragsdale of Patton, Missouri and a sister, Shirley Crites of Marble Hill, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.
