Wilbur H. Brown, 86, of Jonesboro, AR passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his home. He was born June 4, 1936 in Mtn. Home, AR to Ned and Allie (Green) Brown. Wilbur was an apparatus technician at Craighead Electric Co-op until retirement. He served in the U.S. Marines and was an avid collector and loved working in the pecan orchard. He was a member of the Finch Baptist Church.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Lou Poynter.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Wilbur include his loving wife of 16 years, Ruth (Miller) Brown; a son, Steve (Dorothy) Brown; three daughters, Catheryn (Scott Moore) Davis, Teresa Stallings, and Michele Salito; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Finch Baptist Church with Marty Ezell officiating. A private entombment will be held at Baxter Memorial in Mtn. Home.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10 am.
Lasting memorials in Wilbur's honor can be made to either the Finch Baptist Church Building Fund or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
