I am so sorry to hear of Geraldine's passing. She was an extremely hard worker producing research materials to use in the library and adding some monies to the coffers to continue more to offer in the genealogy dept. I always enjoyed our conversations and time spent in the library and at Ancestral Fairs.
She will be missed by many. Prayers and condolences to all who love her.

I had the great pleasure to serve on Boston Mtn Rural Health for 20 years with Geraldine.
There was nothing she enjoyed more than bragging on her kids and grandkids.
She was a true servant of God and did a variety of things for her community.
She will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Geraldine was my neighbor for years and friend as well. We loved doing family research. Geraldine filled in some blanks for me as well as I filled in some blank for her. Geraldine was a worker and loved her family dearly. Geraldine will be missed. Searcy County has lost a very special lady!

I was terribly saddened to hear of Geraldine's accident. We were friends for many years and worked closely researching many a family genealogy together. Geraldine was a bloodhound at doing this kind of family research and very little got by her sharp mind concerning it. Her skill at doing this family research for people helped to make the Searcy County Library genealogy department one of the best to be found anywhere. She was also very instrumental in the production of many of the Searcy Co. books and photo collection developed at the library. She was made an honorary member of the Clan Ferguson's for her ground breaking research of their family. I doubt there is anyone alive who knew more about the Ferguson family than she did. Geraldine's wish had been to write a book on the Ferguson's family one day. Hopefully her work with old records and DNA collection will still allow the Clan Ferguson to continue to document their family. Geraldine was a strong woman and the glue that held her family together. She also had a sweet tooth, and probably had some candy hid in her truck. She was my friend and I pray God will bless, and comfort all her family at this most difficult time.

Geraldine was a solid presence on the board of Boston Mountain and was relied upon for her building expertise and no-nonsense approach to business. We will all miss her and wish the family well. Geraldine was a 'keeper' in the fishing vernacular.

Geraldine served on our Boston Mountain Rural Health Center Board of Directors for approximately 25 years. She served as Secretary of the Board for the last several years. She had a caring heart and did everything she could to help people in her community. Personally, I will miss Geraldine, as I have known her my entire life. You will never meet a more caring person who would do anything to help people in need. She loved her family so much. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and I know her family will miss her deeply. Prayers for her family and friends, as they mourn the loss of a very special person. My love to all.
