Erma L. Davis, 89, of Batesville passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022.

She was born March 18, 1933 in Phillips County, Arkansas to Herbert Livingston and Mildred McDowell Livingston.

Erma was a member of First Baptist Church of Batesville and the Beta Sunday School Class. She was an avid reader of the Bible and prayed daily. From 1989 until 2012 she was the owner/operator of Batesville Frame Shop. Erma was kind, honest and dependable; she loved her family dearly. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and playing cards with her family and friends.

Survivors include her two daughters, Connie Davis Albers of Batesville and Amy Davis Brown (David) of Jonesboro; two sisters, Linda Smith (Tom) of Searcy and Mildred Hill of Poplar Grove; three grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Royek, William Davis Brown and Elisabeth Ann Brown and one great-grandchild, Jensen Jacob Royek.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Everett Davis; brother, James David Livingston and sister, Mary Helen Ashwander.

Honorary pallbearers will be Curt Martin, Rich Byers, Jim Leonard, Lloyd Davis, Jim McVey, Russell Moore, Don Lemley, David Nobles, Jerry Miller, Larry Duchanoy and the men of Beta Sunday School Class.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Monday, December 12, 2022 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with Brother Stacy Reed and Eddie Cox officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am Monday, just prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in her honor to First Baptist Church, 610 E Main Street, Batesville, AR 72501 or charity of your choice.

We so wished we could have been there for the services today! She will be truly missed but we find comfort in the fact that she is in heaven and reunited with her husband now.
