Love Hums

We remember your hum as you rocked in your chair;
having read our Book with such tender loving care.
We remember your smile when seeing us after school,
your sweet embrace and feeding us until we're full.
Mom and Dad remember you gladly taking us with a smile.
They were relieved because Josh made them run a mile.
No questions, you would take us all night long.
You would watch us even when James cried for mom.
We all remember your loving hum like a bird beating its wings.
We'll never forget in our hearts the way your voice sings.
Grandson James Turner
