My heart is so broken at the loss of my sweet and precious cousin. He meant the world to us, as does Genene, and Tanya. My childhood is filled with such great memories of him, Vernon, Nadine, and Richard. I am so happy we were such good friends also and could share such wonderful times at each others house playing cards, being silly, and just enjoying each other and our kids. All the lake trips skiing, swimming, and staying on an island having fun and making memories with our kids are so precious to us. We love you Denny and know we will see you before long. Give my mom, dad, Raymond, and Nita a big hug from me. Genene, Tanya,, and Matt you had a wonderful husband, father, and PaDenny who loved y’all so much. He was always so giving of his time to so many. If you needed something Denny and Genene were always there. You have always been a wonderful couple that so many people admired. We love you Genene, Tanya, and Matt and are fervently praying for peace and comfort to help ease the pain of your great loss.❤️

Jim and I send our heartfelt condolences. We will miss seeing Mr. Smith driving his side-by-side or his tractor between his house and the church. He always had a big smile and a big wave.

Praying for the peace and comfort of our Lord for the Smith family.

Liz and I send our love to Denny's family and friends who are in the midst of grieving the loss of one so precious and beloved by them. Though we did not know Denny personally, we are very close friends with Don and Sharon and family. Through them, we have learned what a wonderful person Denny was, and how much he will be missed by each and every one who knew and loved him. May the grace of God, the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with each of you. May your hearts be filled with peace that passes all understanding. May you rest assured in the hope of the resurrection. As you mourn Denny's passing, may you be comforted in the knowledge of your reunion with him at the coming of Jesus Christ.

Clay and I were so sad to hear the news of Denny’s passing. We loved him not only because he was our relative but how he loved Dad and how he would take time to drive from Greenbrier to Sheridan to cut Dad’s hair along with his beautiful wife. That meant a lot to us. He also delivered some of his Dad’s donkeys to our farm as a gift to Clay when his own dad passed. He was quite the jokester and we will miss him.
Our hearts hurt for you girls and Matt because he was your everything. I know Smitty and Uncle Raymond and the rest of the family were happy to see him. May God hold you close and let you feel his love.
RIL my sweet friend till we meet again.

Kyle and I are Tanya's neighbors. We have had the privilege of meeting and spending time with Mr. Denny when he comes to mow and he REALLY LOVES TO MOW! He was always so thoughtful and kind. He even wanted to mow our yard due to our mower being broken for a while. Such a sweet man he will be missed.
