I will always remember Fred as a quiet man that I never heard raise his voice or talk bad about anyone. It was hard to follow in his foot steps when he stepped down as Fire Chief of the 101 Gamaliel Fire Department. Rest in Peace Fred!

Worked side by side with Fred until his retirement. Trusted friend and loyal employee. Always had a smile and was just great to work with. We both liked to witch for water for wells in parks on Bull shoals Lake. We were a team.

Uncle Fred was a very special man. He was one I always looked forward to seeing when we visited from Kansas City. He taught me about carburetors when I moved to Arkansas. He loved us Turner kids and showed it. I will always remember him with a full heart.
