Mr. David Peter DeRolf, age 74, of Henderson, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 25, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 11, 1948 in Highland, Indiana to Dell Roger DeRolf and Janet Sophia (Chintis) DeRolf. He is preceded in death by his parents.
David was a college professor for many years. He took enjoyment in reading different books, writing letters to others and talking about subjects that he was passionate about. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his friend, Mark Petrino of Henderson and other friends and family.
Services are private under the care of Roller Funeral Home.

David loved the Lord. We had many long talks about his family and the Bible. He will be missed. Praise the Lord he is in heaven now. My condolences to his friends.

I took many of his classes. He was passionate about history especially about the Civil War. I hadn't seen him in a long time but when I did he always remember my children and their names. He was a wonderful friend.

I taught with David for several years over thirty years ago. He was a brilliant man, so knowledgeable about history and geography and always enthusiastically shared that knowledge with his students and friends. I send my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
