Billie is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Vernie Manuel; her first husband and father of her children, Charles Rufus Young; her second husband, T.J. Lawrence and her sister, Rosemary Kimbrell.

Sorry to hear about the passing of mother. I immediately thought of all the kindness she showed me when I was around her and the family. She was a very dear woman in my life growing up, always happy and full of joy. But as we all do we walk this temporal life until we take the last step and by faith and hope in Jesus Christ we take our last step into eternity with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She will always be missed but never forgotton. Peace and Love to all her family

My heart is sadden to hear of this sweet lady’s passing from this life. I remember her as a child, when she babysat me for sometime. Recently I had the privilege of knowing her as an adult, and she was such a pleasure to see once again. I always looked forward to seeing her, and cutting up with her! She always had me laughing! Sending prayers for your family thru this time!

You will be missed Ladybug, but I am thankful that all these years of your struggle is over. Your mind is now sharp, your body is no longer feeble and with GOD there is peace. Enjoy the rest in HIM you now receive and the loved ones you are surrounded by as we finish our own courses. I love you. I know I was your favorite.❤️😊

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Billie. Her first husband, Charles, and my Mother, Cleo Kelley Sowell, were cousins and as a child we spent many weekends at their home in Memphis watching the Grand Ole Opry and Gunsmoke on TV. We only lived a few blocks from them but we didn't have a TV and they did! Billie was always a gentle soul and I've always had nothing but wonderful memories of her.

Tim, Kandy, and Family, I'm sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I thought a lot of Billie, her and my Mom were friends from childhood. Anytime they got together they laughed about the silly things they did together. Mom enjoy talking to her on the phone. She was a wonderful Lady. Love and Prayers, Brenda (Bryan) Dishaw.
