So sorry for your family's loss of Dana, but as Steve Trawick has already said, she's now with her Lord in a safer and better place. I met Dana while being active in Van Buren County and Arkansas State Republican politics. She was a sweet lady that always seemed to be smiling and with a cheerful attitude as was her sister, Dot. We were never the closest of friends, but I always appreciated the history and advice they gave me when I was a newcomer to Arkansas politics.

So sorry to hear of Dana's passing. I haven't seen Dana in awhile but I always enjoyed talking with her. She was a very smart lady. She always had an immense knowledge of the working of the Arkansas Republican Party and Johnny and I always enjoyed talking to her about that. She made a great Republican County Chair also! She will be missed by everyone that knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with Dot and Michael and the rest of the family.

My sincere condolences to this wonderful family. I loved to accompany Miss Dana when we used to sing those great gospel hymns! She was a precious, sweet lady who I cherished as a friend. The best comfort I can offer is that we are not as those who have no hope! Because we know she put her trust in the Lord. She is safely home now, with Jesus.

Dear Steve, Linda, Eric, Nick, Jake and family:

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Dana.

I met Steve in high school - we were classmates. Later, he met and married my sister and became family. Naturally, that meant his family and ours got together. I remember visits from Bob and Dana and getting to know them. Bob was vivacious and Dana was so talented and interesting.

When the Ruffs moved back to Arkansas, Linda showed me photos of the many visits her family made to see Dana and other relatives. My nephews were adventurous and loved the country and the time spent with Dana and family - and it showed in all the photos.

Dana lived a long life and a good life and leaves your family with love and happy memories to carry on the traditions.

With love

Eileen
