Missing you so much lately as your birthday gets closer. Sometimes I feel I've got my emotions under control and then a song, scent or memory tears the wound open and the pain starts all over again.
I've started this several times and every time I get close to finishing I get a call I must answer and everything I previously said is erased! Malani called to remind me to get a medical alert necklace in case I fall or a bear is chasing me! Since you're no here with me physically anymore, I guess that's a smart thing to do!
I'm almost out of the soap you loved when you were little. I've been rationing it for years since they no longer make it. When I'd finish cleaning up the kitchen and go to tuck you in bed, we'd pray and I'd sing all your favorite songs , Here Comes The Sandman was your favorite, you'd always hold my hands and say that soap was your favorite smell. Every night still, I wash my hands with what's left in that last bottle, inhale it's fresh, herbal fragrance and remember all those nights we did that ritual, even the night before you passed, just to let you know I will always remember. I guess I better get back to work, Jordanordan! I have a flat tire on my old Subaru I must get fixed. I have a cancer biopsy at 7AM tomorrow so it's a good thing it's flat today and not tomorrow! Love you always. Momma

I went to school with Jordan and I don't think I can remember a time where he wasn't laughing, smiling, or causing someone else to be laughing or smiling. He was a great young man and will be missed deeply by many. My heart and prayers go out to his family and closest friends.

Jordan was one if the very few I could call a true friend to me. He was one of my first childhood friends I look back at our laughs and times together and he went to soon but he is still loved and missed now very much. I miss you my brother.
