Jerry was a wonderful, kind, humble man of God. He loved his wife Jackie unconditionally and sacrificially just as his Lord and Savior calls men to do in Ephesians 5. He also loved his sons and grandchildren in a similar manner. He served faithfully in his church Central Baptist, Conway, AR.
Jerry touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
To Jackie and family. So many great tributes already given, but I wanted to say how sorry I am over your loss. Jerry was so kind, loved, and respected by so many people. It was always a privilege to be in his presence.

I remember Jerry to be a soft spoken kind person that one would like immediately. I want to share with you a most terrifying moment in my life involving Jerry. Jerry just purchased a motor cycle and insisted I take it for a spin. I tried to bow out gracefully but he insisted. I climbed on hit the highway and when I shifted into a higher gear the throttle stuck and at about 60 mph I had the presence of mind to turn the key off. It was a long walk back but Jerry was not upset and we retrieved the machine.
Jerry will be missed so much. He was faithful to the very end. May God bless and comfort Jackie and all the family at this sad time. I miss seeing him using his talent to help in leading in worship at Central.
Sending prayers and my deepest condolences to Jackie and the family. We know where Jerry is and thank God for that comfort. He will be truly missed. My love to you all.
