Marshall Eugene Lands, of Jonesboro, AR was born October 4, 1943 in Light, AR and passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, at the age of 79. Marshall worked for Crane Co. and lastly, Dana Corp until retirement. He was a member of Greensboro Road Church of Christ. He served in the National Guard and loved golfing, gardening, the Razorbacks and most of all, his grandbaby time.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nancy Jane (Lenderman) Lands; a brother, Edwards Lands and sisters, Velma Gill, Ruth Cook, Mary Lou Boozer and Carol Lands.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Marshall include his loving wife of 56 years, Lila (Cook) Lands; two sons, Christopher (Dana) Lands and Steve (Kristie) Lands; one daughter, Marsha (Mike) Foster; seven grandchildren, Caleb Lands, Joshua Lands, Ryan (Mallory) Lands, Blake (Brooke) Lands, Kodi (Andrew) Herndon, Ashley Foster and Cameron (Kayla) Foster; great grandchildren, Addison, Karly, Levi, Gracelyn, Waylon and one on the way, Aiden Marshall; a brother, Mike Lands and three sisters, Regina Erwin, Betty Sue Foster and June Kemp.
Chapel services will be 2 pm Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Terry Joe Kee officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1 pm.
Cameron Foster, Caleb Lands, Joshua Lands, Ryan Lands, Blake Lands and Andrew Herndon will serve as pallbearers. Steve Stoker and the Deacons of Greensboro Road Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family requests lasting memorials be made in Marshall's honor to the Greensboro Road Church of Christ, 2008 N. Old Greensboro Road, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Many find memories of Mr Lands at Fisher Street.
My heart goes out to the whole family. Marshall was a wonderful man. He was one of the kindest people I knew and he will be greatly missed. Marshall, thank you and I will miss you.

I worked closely with Marshall for nearly 20yrs. I grew to value his honor, integrity and his friendship. I had such respect for his work ethic and job knowledge. When Chelsea left Dana and was moving to Olive Branch, I did my best to persuade him to go with us. His answer was, he could never move away from his family.

Marshall was a fine gentleman. Faithful in the Lord’s church. I know his family thought the world of him. Lila, to you his beloved siblings and to your children my wife Lana and I pray for you. May the loving kindness of God surround you and lift you up.
We went to Fisher St. Church of Christ years ago, That is were we first met Marshall Lands. He has always been a light in this dark world. Our deepest regards to his wife and family he is leaving behind. I know their heart rest easy in knowing Marshall is home with the Lord.
