Mr.Loyd was my best friend in the ffa he was like a dad to me whenever we went to events we always stuck together. He always made me me smile and I loved making him smile. So many memories with him we would sit and talk about his horses he always wanted me to come out and see them but I never got the chance because we lost touch after I graduated. I will miss him dearly I loved the man so much.
He taught me how to drive a school bus. He was a very happy & patient gentleman.

My mom's youngest brother James Chance, married into the Carter family. They treated me as one of their family as well. As the years go by and some journey home I know there will be a great reunion in the sky! Loyd Ray you will be missed by many, but welcomed by many too! Go ride those pastures where the grass is belly high and the water runs cool and clear! My sincere prayers are with the entire family during this mournful time.
I'm an ag teacher at Westside and I've had a lot of wonderful conversations with Lloyd over the years at various FFA events. When I saw a Conway bus I always looked for him. He was a great man and I'm thankful I got to spend time with him. Good bless your family in this time.
