of Mountain Home, AR
June 3, 1930 - November 1, 2022
Mr. Jerril Partee, 92, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in Mountain Home. He was born in Mountain Home on June 3, 1930 to Virgil and Ruby (Crothers) Partee. He was an Army Veteran, member of the Freewill Baptist Church, and a backhoe operator for many years. In fact, he was the first backhoe operator in Mountain Home. He loved farming, hunting, being a song leader at his church, and was an avid collector and restorer of John Deere tractors and old trucks. His true loves, though, were the Lord, his wife, of 68 years, Mrs. Irene Partee, and all his family and friends. He was one of the kindest, easiest-going, and likable people a person could ever hope to meet.
Jerril is survived by his wife; daughter: Vickie Hilton; 2 sons: Gary Partee (Doyla) and Kregg Partee (Sheila); 6 grandchildren: Justin Partee, Jessica Marshall, Jeremiah Partee, Kraigen Partee, Megan Hilton, Rochelle Partee; 2 step-grandchildren: Carl Bozeman, and Donnette Headrick; 9 great-grandchildren: Chase Partee, Jeremiah Partee, Kameron Partee, Kaitlyn Partee, Garrett Whiting, Austin Marshall, Hunter Marshall, Kynlee Marshall, and Jojo Headrick, and sister: Linda Heavener. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons: Mark and Danny Partee; 4 brothers: Donald, Bob, Curtis, and Leonard Partee, and sister: Faye King.
A visitation will be held between 1-2:00pm on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home with funeral services to follow with officiant Bro. Leo Dye and pallbearers: Justin Partee, Kraigen Partee, Chase Partee, Richard McClellan, Jeremiah Partee, and Grant Partee, along with honorary pallbearers: Allen Vostatek, Steve Nearn, David McClellan, and Dustin Partee. Interment will be at Amos Cemetery in Lakeview, Arkansas.
he was my papa
Jerril was a good man. I never got to see him very often, but would see him sometimes at the Walker Road Reunion. If I happened to be passing by his home I would stop in to say Hi. Sometimes I would leave Peggy in the car and go in and visit with Jerril and Irene. I would just go for a minute. After an hour or so Peggy would come and check on me as I just couldn't have a short visit with those folks. I don't get out to the old neighborhood much any more as the changes I see make me sad. Now if I go by what will all always be the 'Old Buddy Walker Place' to me, I know the tears will flow when I remember visits with Irene and Jerril. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten. My prayers will be with Irene and all the family.
In my prayers loved and missed
I am so sorry I missed this on the radio. Lesa and I would have been at the service for sure. I will be by and visit soon. There are so many memories since he, Mark and Gary put in our septic tank in 1978. You all have been GREAT neighbors and couldn't ask for better friends. Jerril will certainly be missed and his friendly smile and wave in passing on 39!!! AND the friendly welcome mat you always extended when I would stop by to say hi.
Irene, when Emily died - what really helped me was Rev. 21:4
May God bless and comfort you and the whole family.
