Jeweldean Loggins Hensley, age 94 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, October 7th, 2022 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on November 20th, 1927 to Floyd Taylor Loggins and Okla Annis Sanders Loggins. She married Jim Hensley on February 3rd, 1945 and through this union, three children were born.
Jeweldean was a homemaker. She was always laughing and had a great sense of humor. She loved to write poems and kept notebooks full of them. She enjoyed attending church and always cooked a big dinner after church on Sunday for her family. She loved reading and gardening. Jeweldean and her husband, Jim always grew a big garden. She also enjoyed camping every summer on the Buffalo with her family.
Survivors include her three children, Carol Jean Jackson of Marshall, Larry Hensley (Cheryl) of Marshall and Darrell Hensley (Hona) of Marshall; her daughter-in-law of many years, Phyllis Hensley; grandchildren, Darby Jackson (Heather) of Marshall, Yolanda Davis (B.W.) of Marshall, Kristina Savage (Ty) of Harrison, Laura Ragland (Jerry Don) of Marshall and Jeff Hensley of Marshall; great-grandchildren, Hunter Jackson of Marshall, Keely Grice (Taff) of Marshall, Skyler Lewis of Conway, Wyatt Lewis of Leslie, Alison Ragland of Harrison, Alex Ragland of Harrison, Jaden Snow of Marshall and Anna Ragland of Marshall; one great-great granddaughter, Everley Grice of Marshall; sisters-in-law, Betty Eaton Loggins and Betty Hensley Loggins and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will mourn her passing.
Jeweldean is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Okla Loggins; her husband of 55 years, Jim Monroe Hensley; grandson, Lance Wade Hensley; granddaughter, Samantha Jill Hensley; son-in-law, Garry Jackson and her siblings, Mathaline Loggins, James Floyd Loggins, David Leon Loggins, Billy Taylor Loggins and Joe Dale Loggins.
Funeral services for Jeweldean will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Don Campbell officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery where Jeweldean will be laid to rest beside her husband, Jim Monroe Hensley who passed away in 2000. Bearers will be Randy Loggins, Drew Apple, Robert Ace Hensley, Jackie Hensley, B.W. Davis and Jerry Don Ragland. Honorary bearers will be Jeweldean's grandchildren.
