Just learned of Bill's passing today. I met him through music and loved talking to him about fiddling and life. He was an unbelievably kind soul. He always spoke lovingly and longingly of his wife, Mona, always referring to her as my sweetie. I'm sure he is happy to be reunited with her in heaven. My condolences to all of Bill's family. He will be missed.

Mr. Billy was one of the most kind men I’ve ever met. Myself and my staff at the bank absolutely adored him and looked forward to his Friday visits. He will be missed more than words can explain.
