i keep thinking of the many ways say thank you
to neal my last sibling
to neal a loving father, grandfather and uncle
to neal a fun and caring friend
to neal who helped in painting a vision of a loving family

I love you my brother and will miss the laughs and debates on our family linage lol
but to all who see the family of Neal will see and feel the joy , love and friendship that comes with brotherly and family love. He gave it, he showed it and he lived it to its fullest. A great thing from all of this is that it is contagious and never ending thru his kids and family
To see how his family and friends live life to its fullest though their words, smiles and actions as a family in everything they do is a blessing that WILL cause anyone around them to smile and just feel good inside. Neal’s family demonstrates the meaning of a loving family and a caring friend. Stay strong kids. You are the reason your dad is who he became, and through your actions, all those around you can experience the joys of life, the love of family and meaning of friendship.

Neal was and is a very special childhood friend. He was well known growing up with us at Ida Burns Elementary until the 6th grade when he moved to Greenbrier. He was a good person who loved his family very deeply. Neal may be missed but he is always in my early school memories. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

We will always remember how excited Mr. Paul was at the engagement party for Paul and Caroline. He was one proud papa!
To the Kirkland family, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we bless you with his peace that surpasses all understanding. Although you will grieve for a little while joy will come again.
Our prayers are with you,

I always enjoyed seeing Mr Neal around the ball park or in the gym. You could see the proud joy in his smiling face as he cheered on Ally in everything she did. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I was One of Mr. Kirkland’s nurses at the LR VA. He was a navy veteran that served this country. It was a pleasure serving one of America’s heroes. He was always so pleasant and he will be missed.

Uncle Neal was loved by everyone around him and knew how to make you laugh. When I was little he earned the title of my favorite uncle and was so proud of that fact he told everyone in a 10 mile radius to this day. I love you and will miss you dearly
