Janice L. Morris

of Searcy, AR

September 30, 1939 - September 15, 2022

On the evening of September 15, 2022, Janice L. Morris, left her earthly body and entered her eternal home surrounded by her three children and other close family while they sang ''Beulah Land''. Janice was 82 years old at the time of her passing. She was born September 30, 1939 to the late John and Beulah (Osborne) Sanders in Searcy, AR and at the young age of 18, she married her beloved husband, Royce, on this very day 64 years ago (September 20, 1958).
Janice is survived by her husband of 64 years, Royce; her three children, Janet, Debbie and Randy; daughter in law, Charity; four grandchildren, Jayson, Margaret, Kama and Sky; three great grandchildren, Adelaide, Silas and Audrey as well as numerous other family and friends from a life well lived.
What a beautiful reunion there was in that promised land between Janice and her parents, John and Beulah (Osborne) Sanders; her brothers, Rev. Milton, Ancel (Red), Eldon, Marlin, Vernon and her sisters, Dicie Cox and Murrell Ridings.
Janice spent her young adult years as a homemaker. She became a full time mom after her first child was born in 1961. Janice and her husband, Royce, worked together to purchase and sustain their strawberry farm between the years of 1975 and 1980. She loved nothing more than Jesus and her family. Janice also enjoyed shopping and talking on the phone. She loved chocolate ice cream (and always got a brain freeze from eating too fast) and sweet potatoes. She got a little weak in the knees over Elvis and his singing :) Janice was a praying woman, she was an encourager and always saw the best in people. She would intervene in prayer for her family daily and knew that faith and perseverance would see things through. Royce and Janice were members of Faith Assembly of God on Hwy 16 for many years, until they were physically unable to attend. Her greatest pride and joys in this life were her family especially her beautiful great grand babies.
Visitation will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with service to follow at 2:00PM. Interment will be at Foster Chapel Cemetery.
