of Bono, AR
February 8, 1935 - September 11, 2022
Deborah McBroome, 87, of Bono, gained her Heavenly reward Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her home. She was a member of the Bono Church of Christ. Those who knew her called her Gram. When Gram wasn't in the garden, she spent most of her time taking care of Pop and those around her. Gram was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to all. You were never hungry at Gram's house. One of the family's favorite memories was when Gram would walk out to the back porch and surprise her grandkids by doing a back buster while they were all swimming in the pool. You could often find Gram and Pop sitting on the deck viewing "God's Country". Gram loved her family and the times when everyone was together.
Deb was preceded in death by her husband, Wes McBroome of 71 years; her parents, Grover and Lillie Lashlee; a grandson, Christopher Wayne McBroome and her siblings, J.G. Lashlee, Joan Coleman and Doug Lashlee.
Deb is survived by her sister, Sue Turney; her 5 children, Butch McBroome of Little Rock, Rick McBroome (Sheri) of Cocoa, Florida, Teri Williams (Randy) of Egypt, Lisa McBroome and Patti Parton (Clint) both of Bono. Gram had 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Church services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the Bono Church of Christ with Richard Akin officiating. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm preceding the service.
Arrangements by Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Grammy was the best! I remember many years ago eating Sunday afternoon meals. She always made the best food! Because Gram put cabbage in her roasts, I started putting it in mine. I got so many good recipes from her. The world already misses her smile and sweet voice. I love you Gram! Always
I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed visiting with her when she came to CRA for Grandparent’s Day.
