Arthur Allen MollinsI am a Veteran.

of Little Rock, AR

March 3, 1946 - September 2, 2022

Arthur Allen Mollins, 76, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2022. He was born in Breckenridge, Minnesota on March 3, 1946.

After meeting his wife, Yolanda, on a blind date, they soon began a loving marriage of almost 45 years. Together they raised two children, Jack and Nicole.

Arthur started his career in the Air Force where he served for four years. As a hardworking man, he enjoyed his job with the FAA as a weather specialist for 27 years. After retiring, he managed to find his way back to the control tower. He worked all the way up until his health no longer allowed.

Arthur never met a stranger. He always had a joke on deck and a compliment waiting in the wings. He tried his best to make everyone around him smile. His favorite hobbies were fishing, watching storms develop and grilling out.

His passing is preceded by his mother, Bernice Thompson and his step father Gerald Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Mollins; his son Jack Mollins and his wife Marci; his daughter Nicole Daniel and her husband Josh; his grandchildren Finley Daniel, Bauer Daniel, Annalise Mollins and Brock Mollins; his stepbrother Gerald Thompson, Jr and step sisters Sharon Tschida and Debbie Hartog and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 15, 2022 from 12-2pm at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72211.

To our wonderful old friends, Yolanda, Jack and Nicole— we are going to miss Art so much. He was a big part of our Valley View life for years and even though he no longer lived here we still count him, and you, as our very dear friends. We still laugh and talk about Art and all our fun times. God bless and heal you.
