Mark Lynn Gipson, 58, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Craighead Nursing Center. He was born August 17, 1964 in Jonesboro to Paul and Bessie (Tisdale) Gipson. He was a Charter member of the Valley View Missionary Baptist Church. Mark was a friendly, kind, gentle, considerate and loving person who had great love for others, especially his family and numerous nieces and nephews. Mark never met a stranger and was loved by everyone that met him. He graduated from Valley View schools in 1983 and earned a degree in diesel mechanics at Delta Vo-Tech in 1988.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Leon, Jimmy and Bobby Gipson.
Those left behind to cherish the memories of Mark include his brothers, Larry (Mona), Gary (Mary) and Jerry (Pat) Gipson; sisters, Betty (Jim) White, Patricia (Charlie) Agee and Karen (Randy) Woodruff and many family members and friends.
The Gipson family thanks Craighead Nursing Center for their great care of Mark during his sickness. We are truly grateful.
Services will be Tuesday, September 6, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, beginning with visitation at 10:00, followed by the Service at 11:00. Pastor Reagan Lee will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery.
Richie Agee, Anthony Gipson, Dave Gipson, Tommy Gipson, Troy Gipson and Jeremy White will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be brothers Larry, Gary and Jerry Gipson and Brothers-in-Law Charlie Agee, Jim White and Randy Woodruff.
In lieu of flowers, please consider lasting memorials in Mark's honor to Valley View Missionary Baptist Church or The Gideon's International.

Larry, and family, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother losing a brother is a hard loss. Thinking of all of you keeping you in prayer.
I met Mark once in about 2002 when I worked at the
State Revenue. He seemed to be a happy go lucky kind of guy. He was probably my best customer that day.
I want the family to know how very sorry I am and how I know you must feel at this time. I know GOD will help you through this sad time.
