Ronald David Gaume

of Bald Knob, AR

June 20, 1945 - September 1, 2022

Ronald David Gaume, 77, of Bradford completed his earthly journey on Thursday morning, September 1, 2022 at Unity Health Medical Center in Searcy. On Wednesday, June 20, 1945 Ronald began his life's journey with his parents, Benjamin L. and June N. Metzner Gaume in Elkhart, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Thomas Lee Gaume and Paul A. Gaume. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Karen Annette Leasure Gaume; three daughters, Sandra (Marshall) Garner of Bradford, Lisa (Neil) Andrew of Bradford and Angie Throckmorton (Jason Asikainen) of Searcy; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Amelia) Garner, Lynn (Kelsea) Garner, Felecia (Eric) Stevens, Tara Imhoof, Martina (Dustin) Manuel, Ezra Throckmorton, Kidron Throckmorton and Vivian Throckmorton; ten great-grandchildren, Jenna, Kyera, Ashton, Preslea, Ellie, Averee, Abreanna, Andi, Lily and Bo and two great-grand Fur babies along with his nieces, nephews and other extended family members and many friends.

Ronald had many interests and things in his life that he loved and enjoyed, but nothing was any more important to him than his girls, including his wife and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He worked as a truck driver for 40 years. He loved driving and even more when one of his girls was able to go with him for a while. One company he drove for was operated by Mark Martin who shared another interest and passion of Ronald's, which was NASCAR racing, along with major league baseball when he would go to see the Los Angeles Angels, which he admitted was his favorite sport of all. When he could no longer go to games or races, he watched them on TV along with all types of cooking shows. He enjoyed spending time with and sharing his interests with his family.

Ronald was said to be a kind and humble man that would do and give anything to anyone. He loved music and played bass in a band. He would do anything for his girls and he always wanted his girls to do what was right so no one would be able to say anything against them. He shared the most important thing he learned in his life with his girls and that was how to live a life of faith in Jesus Christ.

Services are set for Tuesday, September 6, 2022, with Visitation at 11:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 Noon at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. All services are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy.
