Mrs. Horne was a true lady in every sense of the word. She was always kind, generous, and sweet to me the many times I was at her home visiting Gena. Mrs. Horne never said a negative word about anybody and was a shining example of what being a Christian means. Our world is less bright without her. My love and sympathy to Gena and her family during this difficult time.

Miss that sweet lady. We shared many Christmas and other holiday dinners with she and Doris. Enjoyed their food and great company. She was a fine example of a life well lived. May she rest in peace.

Going to miss this sweet lady. She was the epitomy of servitude, kindness and willingness to share. She had a great sense of humor and always up for fun and an adventure. She was intensely devoted to her family and sister Doris.
Was blessed to be a part of her and her sister Doris' family for the last 34 years. So many fun stories I could tell about the "Twinkies". Always said as Doris' son-in-law that I got a "2 for one deal" with Aunt Dottie in the mix. What fun these two girls were...what happy memories...
Bet those girls had an awesome reunion in the heavenly realm Tuesday, August 30, 2022, probably starting over lunch at the Heavenly Cafeteria on Golden Street. I can hear them laughing now.
