Billie Jo Eddins Taylor was born May 15, 1927 in Dallas, TX and passed away August 30, 2022 in Little Rock, AR. In 1947, Jo met the love of her life, Marvin Taylor, at Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Dallas, where Jo sang in the choir. They were married in 1948 and celebrated 74 years of marriage on August 20, 2022. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Little Rock.

Jo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed providing home-cooked meals for her family. She loved to crochet and over the years made many afghans for family and friends; prayer shawls for seniors and carloads of caps for the babies at Arkansas Children's Hospital. She also worked for more than 30 years in office management.

Jo is survived by husband, Marvin of Little Rock; children, Clayton (Martha) of Little Rock and Becky Riemer (Kirk) of Half Moon Bay, CA; grandchildren, Jay Taylor and Sam Taylor (Janis), Allison Riemer (Alex) and Andrew Riemer and great-granddaughter, Olivia.

A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Roller Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. A private family graveside service to be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you hug someone and tell them how much they mean to you or make a gift in Jo's memory to the charity of your choice.

Jo, you and Marvin were one of the first people I met when coming to Andover.,,sharing Thanksgiving dinner. I so appreciated your kindness. Now, almost 5 years later, I have still enjoyed your company at meals, arts and crafts or whatever.

From the stories I have heard, you have lived an exciting life here on earth. I know God will continue to hold you tight. I pray for your family here on earth to have comfort that you are resting in peace. Amen.
