Betty Geraldine Salmon, age 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Jerl "Zeke" Kenneth Salmon, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 27, 2022. Betty was born July 21, 1935, in Reedly, California, the daughter of the late John W. Roberts and Nellie Rhodes Roberts. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband of 64 years, Betty was predeceased by her son, Joe "Jody" Gordon Salmon. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Carol Salmon Bigby of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren Bailey, Grace, Jonathan, Bradley, Hannah, Sarah, Jaime, Jason, and Josh; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Saturday, September 3, 2022, in Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison, Arkansas.
The family received friends Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
