Earl Betts

of Gassville, AR

October 19, 1944 - August 25, 2022

Mr. Earl Betts, 77, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away in his home Thursday, August 25, 2022. Mr. Betts was born on October 19, 1944 in Woodstock, Illinois to Earl and Dorothy Betts.

You have always been our father, our leader, our inspiration, our trainer, our example, our mentor, and our North Star. We learned far more from you than from any school, books, the military, and life. You always gave your best, even when your best was difficult to give. We want to be greedy and keep you around forever but God has other plans for you and we're sure a greater need than only ours. We will always love you, miss you and continue to learn from your memories and teachings. We promise to pass on to your grandchildren all we can to keep your memory alive and legacy living on. We will love mom, and keep her safe and joyful until you meet again with God.
Dad, we love you.

Earl is survived by his wife: Tina Betts; sons: Cory (Jessica) Betts and Earl (Amy) Betts; ten grandchildren: Danielle (Tyler) Lax, Austin Betts, John (Bailey) Betts, Christian Betts, Nicholas Betts, Samuel Betts, Emery Eldred, Leyton Eldred, Charis (John) Coates, and Kalen Eldred; three great-grandchildren: Elen Rose Betts, Crue Coates, and Rook Coates; and one brother: Eric (Gay) Betts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Esther Betts and Peggy Jacques; and two brothers: Daniel Betts and Edward Betts.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
