I met Lori when she started working for the museum in Wilson. She was a friend to everyone she met, she loved helping me with workshops and programs I would have at the Museum. Basket weaving was one she seemed to love the most. She was up to help every time I had one, which made my job easier. I remember her also watching my dogs whenever I would go out of town, she loved on them like they were her own. She was there for me when my Dad passed, she sat with my mom while I worked. Life will not be as bright without you Lori. We love and miss you already, fly high my friend.

Lori came into my life in college — she quickly became one of the most precious friends I’ve ever had. She ALWAYS cheered me up and made me laugh. She was the perfect balance for my introverted and melancholy nature. She was so talented in many ways, including in art, and had a gift for loving and lifting up all kinds of people. What a blessing she was to all who knew her. You are already greatly missed, Hilltrude. I love you!!! 💜💜💜

Oh Lori, I miss you so much and the fun we had. Your smile was contagious. Your laugh the best ever!! You always told me, I made work fun for you. Well, you made my day everyday! The jokes, listening to songs and taking turns guessing the song or the artist. Oh my, you were one of a kind and are so missed. I love you girl. Time for you to rest in the presence of our Almighty Lord. Have fun and I will see you again one day.

Lori made my last days before retirement in May at ADH so much fun. We called each other the “Hippie-Tie Dye-Fleetwood Mac Groupie!! Lori always had that big smile and loved showing pictures of Hudson’s many costumes for the Holiday’s. The ADH patients and co-workers will sure miss her and her wonderful personality, smile and laughter. She is now God’s Angel. I’m so sorry for her family, friends, co-workers and her sweet fur baby Hudson.

Oh, Lori I can't believe that you are gone. It just doesn't feel right not having you around here at work. Every time someone walks past my door, I'm looking for you; waiting to hear what joke/crack you were going to throw my way. I'm definitely going to miss our time and all the talks we shared together. You were one of a kind and I'm thankful I was able to share that time with you over the years. Lori could always make your day better just being her she had a wonderful personality and will be missed dearly. Rest easy dear friend. I pray for peace and comfort for her family and friends during these difficult days that lie ahead.

I’m going to miss Lori so much. After I left the Blytheville unit full time to take a travel position, she would always be so excited when I came back to town to work. We would have our afternoon visits outside after work to catch up. Lori was a great friend and coworker. There was not a mean bone in her body. She could make you laugh, and was always willing to help out with anything.
Our love for animals was so similar. She loved Hudson so much. She would just beam when she talked about him.
She will truly be missed. Until we see each other again, my friend. Love ya ❤️

Lori was dearly loved by her colleagues and customers at the Mississippi County Blytheville Health Department and will be greatly missed. The Holy Scriptures promise us that “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) My prayer is that our Most Gracious Lord God will surround Lori`s family, friends and colleagues with His divine comfort, love and peace during this very difficult time.

I am devastated. Lori was not just an employee but a real friend. Her time at the museum was greatly enjoyed by all--especially visitors. She made everyone smile and laugh and was there if you needed her. It was fun watching her ride that electric scooter; she was so full of life. I'll never forget the pictures she shared of her with Hudson canoeing--they did everything together. My condolences to the family--I know she will be greatly missed, but with prayer and memories she'll never really be gone. Our prayers are with you all.

Lori was my cousin and one of my best and closest friends. I would spend entire summers at her house in Whitten when we were kids. I have such fond memories of running the dirt roads of Whitten with her. Walking down to the old wooden bridge with our BB guns and shooting snakes, the walking to my nanny’s (Louise O’Dell) store and getting a coke and all the penny candy we could stuff in our pockets. We grew up, lost touch, talked every now and then on Facebook. Now I’m going to miss her. I pray God’s peace and comfort for her family and friends.
