On Friday evening, August 19, 2022, Billy Wayne Wallis, age 69, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend went home to be with the Lord. Billy was born on July 2, 1953, in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Billy Kay and Jane Dillon Wallis. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 48 years, Karen Delk Wallis.

Billy was a lifelong native of Harrison, Arkansas, and graduated from Harrison High School in 1972. After graduation, he served 8 years in the Army National Guard. Billy enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, and gardening. He worked with Wallis Sanitation.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Tina Wallis and her wife, Britteny; grandson, Zackary; granddaughter, Teighan; brother, Steve Wallis and his wife, Cindy; sister, Melinda Walrath and her husband, Joe; nephew, Isiah; niece, Kaylee, and many other family and friends.



Visitation was Friday, August 26, 2022, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

The funeral service was Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Ohmer Dyal officiating.

Burial was in the Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kenneth S. Wallis, Isaiah Wallis, Joe Walrath, Hulen Martin Jr, James Criner, Kenneth M. Wallis, Tim Campbell, and Hunter Campbell.

Bill and Karen were like my 2nd parents. Always available for advice, a smile or a hug I remember many times spending the night at their place and all of us "kids" as momma Karen called us growing up ❤ Rest in Peace Bill 🙏 🕊 we will miss you ❤
