of Little Rock, AR
February 19, 1932 - August 10, 2022
Tuyet (Ngo) Nguyen, age 90, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock.
Mrs. Nguyen is the wife of Dr. Dong H. Nguyen. Her whole life was devoted to her husband of 60 years and their three children and three grandchildren. Mrs. Nguyen, Dr. Nguyen, their three children and their extended family left Saigon, Vietnam on April 30, 1975. The Nguyens eventually made a new home and were warmly welcomed in Trumann, Arkansas. Dr. Nguyen opened his family medicine practice for the small community and Mrs. Nguyen was the brilliant, business savvy, cheerful and compassionate office manager. Mrs. Nguyen and Dr. Nguyen worked side by side (a rarity) for 20 years before Dr. Nguyen retired.
After sustaining a successful business and raising three children, instead of retiring to the beaches of California or Florida, the couple chose to move to Little Rock, Arkansas, to remain close to their children and grandchildren. Mrs. Nguyen will be remembered for her selfless heart, warm and genuine smile, gratitude to and acknowledgement of others, resilience from surviving stage IV ovarian cancer in 2010 and countless memorable meals made with love, and equally devoured by her devoted family with thankfulness and love.
Mrs. Nguyen was preceded in death by her daughter, Dr. Thanh Nguyen of Little Rock, in 2019. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Quat Ngo (Yen) of San Diego, California and her sister, Van Hoang of Fresno, California. Mrs. Nguyen is also survived by her son, Dr. Duong Nguyen, her daughter in law, Dr. Angela Nutt and her grandchildren, Joshua, Ann Marie and Christina all of Little Rock and her daughter, Thuy Nguyen of Austin, Texas.
In the months preceding Mrs. Nguyen's passing, the family was receiving services from First Choice Senior Care.
A visitation will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, August 20, 2022, with funeral services beginning at 11:30am at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801, Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501)224-8300. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Mrs. Nguyen's life, contributions can be made to Christ the King, 4000 N Rodney Parham Rd, Little Rock, AR 72212.
John and I are so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is always hard. We are keeping you and your family in our prayers.

Duong and Angela, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dr. Nguyen thinking and praying for you and your family during these trying times. I enjoyed the few times I met your parents. Mark and I send our condolences.
Dr. Nguyen, as you go through this difficult time remember I'm praying and sending comforting hugs.
Thinking of you at this time. So glad our moms and Cung were all together last year and we will keep you all in my prayers.
She was an incredible lady in my limited time getting to know her. One hell of chef (I still think about her egg rolls) and even better mother as I know she raised some incredible children.
Thinking of her and the entire family.
Duong and Family--my thoughts and prayers will be with your family at this time.
