Jay is my cousin and I will forever miss him. One of my favorite times with Jay was at his sister, Kara's, wedding. We spent the evening prior to the wedding at the hotel, sharing laughs, cracking jokes and catching up on lost time. Jay and I always had a fun a time together. I will forever remember those times and will miss him dearly. I am sending lots of love and prayers. Jay, I hope you and grandma are dancing the days away together!

Jay and I worked together at the State Hospital before he left to finish his masters in social work. He was easily one of the kindest souls and one of my favorite co-workers/friends. I don't believe Jay ever met a person who didn't love him. I am so sorry for this loss. My heart goes out to his parents, his family, Jerry and all of those who loved him. Sending all my love & prayers. He will be genuinely missed.

Jay was a special friend to me. His kind heart impacted so many lives. I am thankful for the times we had together in high school, and that we reconnected recently on Facebook. He was generous with his love to those around him. I thank God for Jay, and am so sad that his life was cut short. I’m praying for the family and those who live on to cherish his memory.

Jay and I went to high school together and later reconnected at a social work conference. Jay was a good guy and was a strong advocate for his clients. His death is way too soon as he had so much more to give. 💙

Nostalgia kicked in for me too as I remember flea market shopping with Jay and having big talks in his little yellow car as we zipped around Benton. I remember his laugh and his generous spirit. Rest in peace, Jay.
