Kimberly Jo Starr

of Morrilton, AR

April 3, 1961 - June 14, 2022

Kimberly Jo (Murphy) Starr, 61, of Morrilton, went to be with her Lord on June 14, 2022.  She was born to Bill Murphy and the late Betty Crain on April 3, 1961, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kim graduated from Mills High School in 1979.

Known as Momma Kim or G to most, there was nothing she liked better than engaging in an interesting conversation with a good (or new) friend. Kim worked many jobs, but with her compassionate spirit and huge heart, she found a love in providing for multiple loved ones and friends throughout her life. She loved the holidays so she could spend quality time with family. She was an avid clearance shopper, bargain hunter, and collector of all things. Kim was a member of Ironton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Betty Crain; brother: Chuck Murphy.
She is survived by her father, Bill Murphy; children, Summer Starr, Savannah Hurley (Kyle) and Josh Harbeson; siblings, Tami Green, Tony Crain and Tim Crain (Bridget); grandchildren: Mason Starr, Haylee Hurley, Eli and Jace Harbeson; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly - just sayin'.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Ironton Baptist Church, 14718 Ironton Cut-Off Rd, in Little Rock, with Brother Sidney Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Wood Cemetery. Kimberly's family will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209.

Prayers got out to her family and friends. She was a very sweet person inside and out. She will be missed by all that knew her. May God be with you all at this time of sadness, and give you the strength to carry on your lives knowing she is in a good place. Cherish all the memories you had with her. And always tell the ones you love that you love them because they may not be here tomorrow for you to tell them again.
