Carin Johnson, 77, of Jonesboro passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born March 31, 1945 in Brookland to Creed and Gayle Nelms. Carin was a secretary for the Brookland Schools and of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson is predeceased by her parents and a sister, Janice Hughes.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, Stanley "Bo" Johnson; daughters, DeAnn Johnson-Rucker and Stacy (Ray) Herring; grandchildren, Tyler (Staci) Herring, Justin (Britney) Rucker, Derek (Bekah Hickman) Herring and Jessica Rucker; great grandchildren, Branch Herring and Scarlett Rucker; brothers, Ben Nelms, Eddie Nelms, Rodger Nelms, Randy Nelms; sisters, Sue Manley, Phyllis Hancock, Joanie Williams and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 21st at Roller-Farmers Funeral Home at 11:00am with Rodney Manley officiating. Pallbearers include Van Nelms, Tony Manley, Scott Manley, Ryan Manley, Josh Manley and Caleb Manley. Honorary bearers are nieces and nephews. Burial follows at Pine Log Cemetery.
Visitation precedes the service from 10:0am until 11:00am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donation in Carin's name to the Alzheimer's Society.

My heart breaks for all of you. I watched the video and I smile thinking of what a wonderfully beautiful lady Carin will always be. She was so fun and loved to laugh. Prayers and so much love to all of you.
