She was larger than life to them. LaVerne worked for Baxter Lab and retired after 28 years.

LaVerne is survived by her children, Phyllis Murry (David) of Frederick, MD and Mike Adams (Tracey) of Gassville, AR; Her siblings, Dale Smith (Barbara) of Gassville, JoAnn Ray (Ronnie) of Gassville, AR, Kathy Rose (Larry) of Cotter, AR, Debbie Parks (Marvin) of Silsbee, TX, Carolyn Huddleston of Silsbee TX, Donald Smith of Lead Hill, AR , Norma Schafer of Yakima, WA; Her Grandchildren, Stephanie St. Lawrence of Fredrick, MD; Chris Adams (Jena) of Flippin, AR, Lindsey Leatherwood (John Paul) of Gassville, AR, Ashley Parrish (Chris) of Cotter, AR, Hannah Murry (Andrew) of Austin, TX, Jacob Murry (Destany) of Martinsburg, WV, Caitlin Haight of Little Rock, AR, Justin Haight of Lakeview, AR; Her Great grandchildren, Eva Cortez, Mckenna Cortez, Jackson Mcfalls, Max McFalls, Ava Domin, Audriana Murry, Ashton Murry, Aubrey Murry, Lexi Leatherwood, Caiden Leatherwood, Brady Leatherwood, Brayden Adams, Lennox Adams, Maggie Parrish, Madden Parrish, Mason and Olive, and many, many nieces and nephews who adored their Nanu. LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Elwese; her Husband, Leonard Adams; her sister, Darlene McClendon and her brothers, Johnny, Carl, and Doyle Smith.
