Peggy Sue Coad, 71, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Peggy was born on September 4, 1950, to Edward and Hazel Hollis of Cherry Valley, Arkansas.

Peggy attended and graduated from Cross County.
In her free time she loved to read all books, specifically mystery novels.
She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. She lost her husband at an early age and dedicated her life to raising her two boys on her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald L. Coad; sister, Lucille Page; brother, Eugene Hollis and Freddie Hollis who passed after Peggy on June 4 2022.
Peggy is survived by two sons, Michael Coad (Shelby) and Jason Coad (Siara); grand-daughters, Addison Blakelee Coad, Aynslee Blakelynn Coad, Jalynn Sue Coad, Teagan Jo Coad, Aspen Brynn Coad, Aylin Brinkley Coad; one sister, Phyllis Mays.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 11, 10:00 11:00 AM at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 Pine St. in West Memphis, Arkansas.
