William Franklin Cavenaugh, 79, of Sherwood went to be with the Lord, June 5, 2022. He was born March 3, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert Kenneth and Neoma Juaneta Oholendt Cavenaugh. He spent his life serving those around him, as a sailor in the US Navy, as a loving husband and father and as a Baptist minister.
He was preceded in death by Neoma Cavenaugh, Kenneth Cavenaugh, Frances Antrim, Sioney Antrim and Meagan Painter. William is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Connie; daughters, Kim Clingan, Neta Painter, Julie Hefner and Carrie Blankenship; his sons-in-law, John Clingan, Terence Painter, Shawn Hefner and Kurt Blankenship; his grandchildren, Nathanael Clingan, Mallory Clingan, Courtney Clingan, Caleb Painter, Rebecca Painter, Madison Hefner, Luke Hefner, Ella Blankenship, Olivia Blankenship and Ryan Blankenship and his sisters, Fay Massey and Anita Martin.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 13, 2022 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Don Cooper officiating.
