I am thinking about all of you every Dat. I know how hard this time is for you. You all need time alone. Tell Elkin that everything will be fine. I know all of you will take care of him. If you need anything, just call. She was quite a woman. Much like her mother. No one else like her.

M.Idell was the epitome of the scriptural woman. Strength and honor were indeed her clothing as we all saw her deeds of love and kindness for her family and her community. She was excellent in every duty and yes, her children and husband rise to call her blessed but countless others like our family praise and thank God for her example. We WILL see her again.

Words cannot express the emotions I am feeling just now as I read Mrs. Raper’s obituary. She was an exceptional lady who made the difference in so many lives. Personally, she was a surrogate mother for this young schoolteacher and church member in Luxora. Many years have now passed but I will always remember her welcoming home and her sweet smile. My sincere condolences to the family, especially Mr. Raper, Barbara and Diane. ❤️🙏

Mrs. Raper was a lady of so many talents and gifts. We moved to Victoria when I was in the 7th grade, I think that was in 1952. The Raper Family was very active in the community. Our friendship goes back a long time. My thoughts and prayers go out to her sweet family. She will be missed by so many. Cherish your memories.
