Carole P. "Patti" Cook, age 79, fell into the eternal loving arms of her Redeemer on May 15, 2022. She was born to Harold P. and Jewel Ann Hawkins on December 23, 1942, in Detroit Lakes, MN. Patti's greatest joy was being Grammy to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When her health allowed, she also enjoyed painting, traveling, cooking for others and spending time with her dearest friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Hawkins; sisters, Rachel Jones, Lou Kloss and Diane Hawkins. She is survived by her sister, Lyn Hawkins (Chris Medrea); brother, Harold Bud Hawkins (Lennie); son, Jeff Cook (Marcie Dehghani); daughters, Kristin Davidson (Jim) and Tiffany Baker (Drew); grandchildren, Bailey Guinn (Jared), Bear Davidson (Sam), Brette Lee (Brandon), Jacob Baker, Joshua Baker, Joseph Baker and Julianne Baker. Great grandchildren, Jensen Guinn, Cora Hendricks, Hattie Faye Guinn, Waylon Guinn, Maxey Davidson and Teddy James Davidson, as well as four nephews, Steven Jones, Anson McEachern, Ben McEachern, and Web McEachern; along with many dear friends whom she loved well.

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ, where she served Him and others for many years with a special Class of Encouragers.

In honor of Patti's wishes, the family will gather with a few friends to celebrate her life and victory over death.

We loved patti and we always felt her love to us. She has feed us many times and was a very good cook. I have her recipe for baked spaghetti and it is so delicious. She was always a special friend to us. Her great example will always be here. God bless all of her family here on earth. And know all will miss her until we meet again.
