Beverly, Scott, & extended family,

Very sorry to just learn of Mel's passing, he was a fine man. We have very fond childhood & young adult memories of Mel & Jayrene as great neighbors & friends. Mel was such a hard-working & decent man that dearly loved his family & country...he will be missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with the extended family at this difficult time.

Mel was such a wonderful person. I will never forget how Mel and Jarene were so kind to my kids when they were younger. Rest in peace Mel and I am sure Ms. Jarene is glad to see you again. God bless your family.
