Brandon Scott Felkins

of Clarksville, AR

July 14, 1978 - May 4, 2022

Brandon ''Big B'' Felkins, 43, of Clarksville, AR, passed away on May 4, 2022 at his home. He was born July 14, 1978 in Clarksville, AR to Kevin and Judy Felkins.

He is survived by his wife Jill, his parents Kevin and Judy Felkins, his sister Kacy, and grandmother Peggy Willis. Big B also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Big B set a Clarksville High School bench press record of 405 pounds; a record which still stands today. He loved spending time with loved ones and a variety of activities. His love for cooking not only led to a career but was the centerpiece of many family and friend gatherings. Music was an important part of his life, from singing karaoke to dancing to listening to his favorite songs at full volume. Big B loved the outdoors. His love for camping and floating took him on many adventures; he loved the Mulberry River, especially the Wolfpen area. Big B loved to cheer on the Razorbacks; he and Jill got married during a Razorback football game on a Saturday afternoon in September in Fayetteville with 80,000 Hog fans cheering in the background.

A celebration of Big B's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Brandon's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, AR. Online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/clarksville

I miss you brother.
Thank you for being you and for being one of the most generous, genuine, and gentle giants I've ever known. From your laughter to your appetite to your love of life and your fierce defense of each and everyone you loved--no one was bigger than you, B. I'll love you always , Brother.

I met Brandon at UAMS. He was someone that just stood out as a leader/manager and as a genuinely good man. He was kind and fair to everyone and made a point of learning folks names. He was a real pleasure to know. I just found out today of his passing. My love and prayers to his wife and family. How blessed you were to have this good man call you family. God bless you all.

I haven't even seen or talked to B in a very very very long time. But I remember him alwaye smiling. To me his smile was contagious. He and Kacy both share that smile. Kacy, we have been friends since birth the one thing I can always remember is y'all smile so take all the time you need to to say goodbye just remember that every time someone sees you smile it will make them smile because they know your brother's there with you. Friend I love you I'm here for you if you need me I'm praying for you and your whole family

I’ll never forget floating with him and the Methodist church. We flipped our canoe and he turned it over full of water to get us back on track and even offered me dry clothes to camp in when mine got soaked. He had the biggest heart. Prayers for his wife and family. Such a loss to the world.

Brandon was a special guy. He was a valued friend. When my tire was flat at work I called Brandon because I knew he would drop everything to help. He came to my rescue…..but he had no idea how to change a tire. We laughed about that for years. Brandon hated the spotlight but I convinced him to be an extra on a news interview I was doing for work place wellness. They videoed Brandon eating a Sally salad. The segment was so popular it was syndicated nationwide. I always teased that I made him famous. I am so glad I got to know him. He was a great friend to everyone who knew him. The world was a better place with him in it. I’ll miss his laugh and watching him eat. He had the biggest appetite and ate some of the craziest concoctions. Love you Brandon.

Growing up together, I loved Big B with all my heart. He taught me how to play football in the vacant lot on Thompson Street and how to run over the competition like a semi truck. He sat in the back seat with Chris Newman during my first car wreck. Big B was a light that brightened every room he entered!! Love you B.

B, You are like a brother to me and was there for me at times more than my own family. Our time together wasn't always easy nor were we brotherly towards one another all the time but we knew we were always there for one another whether if it was a phone call or in person. Your passion and commitment to your family and friends was more than admirable and how you would always put others needs ahead of your own. You will be missed in more ways than you could have ever believed and are Loved by many more than you were ever told. You will never be forgotten nor will the Love for you never stop. I Love You Brother
