Janice Patton Peters, age 80, passed away at home, April 22, 2022. She was born January 6, 1942, in Pyatt, Arkansas, the daughter of Kirby and Maple Timbrook Patton.
Jan loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She had attended Springdale First Assembly of God before her health prevented her attendance. She loved spending time with family and working with flowers in her garden. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and being outdoors enjoying nature. She retired as the bookkeeper for Stone Mill & Lumber Co in Harmon after 25 years.
Jan is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Chuck Hayes and Shirley and David Methvin; five grandchildren: Chase Hayes, Sierra Hayes, TJ (Brittany) Methvin, Travis (Samantha) Methvin, and KayLee (Bryant) Stafford; great-grandchildren: Harrison Patton Hayes, Dallas, Sawyer, Millee, PaisLee, Gracin, Lilliana, Sophia; sisters Jayne Craker Novak and Brenda Sue Pillow, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Starcevich; sisters: Betty Leadford, Lilly Schmidt, Margaret Faught; her brother Robert Patton, and four infant brothers.
Funeral services was Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Visitation was Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Funeral Home.
Interment was in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
