Just recently learned of Odell’s death. Loved working with her on Station 4 for several years. Praying for her family.

I was sad to see the passing of Odell. I am a registered nurse at Unity Health and have been there for 32 years. When I was a brand new graduate ( 1990) Odell was instrumental in helping me find my way. I learned so much from her and have such fond memories. My first child was born in 1993 & when Odell went to New York she brought my daughter a little gift from FAO Schwarz. 🤍
A funny memory I have is early one morning Odell and I were making our morning rounds on station 4. She had forgotten to put her skirt on and only had on white hose and a slip. I said “Odell, you have a slip on” she said “of course I do! I always wear a slip!” I said “no.. I mean, that’s all you have on!” She was horrified and ran to the nearest bathroom. I can’t tell you how she got her skirt, all I know is that memory continues to bring a smile to my face.
I am sorry for your loss. She was kind to me and I wanted you to know.
