James Freeman, 95, of Trumann entered into eternal rest Friday, April 14, 2022, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born January 20, 1927, in Alicia to Earnest and Lunia (Gist) Freeman. James was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church, an Army Veteran of the Korean War and loved hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of sixty-five years, Dorothy (Garrett)
Freeman; brothers, Earl, Burl, and L. J. Freeman and sisters, Virginia Barner, Corine Haskett and Mary Sue Arnold.
Those left to cherish the wonderful memories of James are son, Michael Freeman; daughter, Glenda (Roy) Kilgore; granddaughter, Jeresa (Jerry) Markin; great-grandson, Aidan Markin; and sisters, Hazel Cook, Mozel Frakes and Carilla Stogsdill.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, Jonesboro, AR with Brother Rick Forbis officiating.
Visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Monday, April 18, 2022, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, AR 72401,
