Virginia Hessie Bean, 82, of Bryant passed away Monday, April 4, 2022. She was born October 16, 1939, in Oak Ridge, Louisiana, to Lonnie and Mittie Scroggins. Virginia was an exceptional business owner, operating two companies for over 30 years. She was well liked by her wholesale vendors, employees and customers. Virginia enjoyed staying busy, cooking, helping others, and being with her family and friends. Her family meant the world to her, she wanted and made a wonderful life for them. Always making sure they were provided for no matter what, even after her death! Virginia was and will always be a wonderful soul, she will be missed and loved eternally by those that knew her!

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Benny Bean; siblings, Willie Mae Puckett; Juanita Ford; Herbert Scroggins; Vernon Scroggins; Joyce Hamilton; Oma Diffee; and Fred Scroggins. She is survived by two children, Tammy Lynne Reeves; Gary Dewain Reeves; grandson, Bradley Thornton (Amberly); one great granddaughter, Braeleigh Thornton; three siblings, Betty Parsons; Wilma Davis (Wayne); Jack Scroggins (Judy); and many other extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022, in the chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas 72002.
