Carrie mae will be missed by so many, growing up in our neighborhood she was like a second mom to half of the neighborhood kids, I think we stayed at her house more than we did our own. She was truly an extraordinary woman, RIP Carrie

I started to school with Carrie at Barton. My family moved away, but returned when I was in the sixth grade thru eighth grades. I still have class photos. I was most impressed with Carrie's love for family and her loving dedication to her Mom. There is no doubt that she and her Mom have reunited in Heaven. I had hoped to visit Carrie the next time I'm in West Helena for my 63rd class reunion. I have printed her obituary as a lasting memory and let other Barton class members know of her passing. My deepest sympathy to family and friends. Your loss is Heaven's gain.
