Kathy Kay Younger, 68, of Mountain View, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was born on Tuesday, May 23, 1953 to Jasper Lawson and Irene Davidson Lawson.
Kathy was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired case worker for the Arkansas Department of Human Services. She loved her family and her dogs. She loved sewing and spending time with her friends. She loved sending cards to the residents in the nursing home and loved ones and was always willing to help.
Don't wait until the end to tell your loved ones you love them. Kathy would want you to know her Lord Jesus Christ who saved her.
Kathy is survived by a son Charles ''Lee'' (Karen) Younger, a daughter Irene (Randall) Perkey, a grandson C.J. Younger, a granddaughter Savanna (Steven) Plante, a great grandson Brantley Younger, three sisters; Lynda Swafford, Brenda (Henry) Swafford and Carolyn (Melvin) Ennis and a brother Gorman Lawson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a twin brother Keith Lawson, an infant great grandbaby Plante, a very special niece Amy Swafford and some very special friends.
A graveside service will be 10AM Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Friendship Cemetery near the Ben Community. Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.
Kathy was my best best friend and I loved her like a sister I will miss her .I was there when she needed me .I miss her so much.
I remember the first time I met miss Kathy, I sold her a dresser and she was so sweet, that before you knew it she was calling me to go to Sonic to get us ice cream. Lee and Karen I'm sorry for your lost, it's hard giving up a Mom,GOD Bless
