January 6, 1950 - March 7, 2022

Mrs. Virginia Ann Gentry, 72, passed away at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian on Monday, March 7, 2022. She enjoyed gardening, loved roses but the love of her life was her children and especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Gentry is survived by her children, Millard Gentry and wife, Skeeter of Shelbyville of KY,
Patricia Coats and husband, Joey of Collinsville, MS and Pearlie Gentry of Decatur, MS; grandchildren, Gabrielle Bass (Josh), M.J. Gentry, Joseph and Griffin Coats, Sydnie Shockley, Candace Zanders (Scott) and Haley Welch (James). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Haydon, Braxton, Madilynne, Brooklyn, Lily, Landon and Brett along with her sister, Virginia Faye Scaife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maebell Jackson and Richard Coburn; husband, Millard Gentry; sisters, Palmela Dailey, LouDone Turpen and Betty Mae Scercy.

A visitation for Virginia Ann Gentry will be held Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home, North location at 7774A Hwy 39 North, Meridian, MS. A second visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home located at 508 Plaza, West Helena, AR on Friday from 12pm to 1pm with a graveside service to follow at Cypert Cemetery in Cypert, AR.
