Robert "Bobby" Timmons, 85, a resident of Paris, passed away March 9, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.

He was born November 14, 1936, in to the late Hanvy Joie and Mildred Lucille (McKinney) Timmons. Bobby graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and then retired from Shell Oil as an operations training instructor after 33 years of service. In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed his grandkids, great grandkids, hunting, fishing, and knife making.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Lou Tillery.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Margaret Timmons of Paris; a son, Robert Timmons, Jr. of Deer Park, Texas; two daughters, Letitia Timmons-Hinnershietz and husband, Johnny of LaPorte, Texas and Robin Bell and husband, Brett of Dover, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Jarra Timmons of Pasadena, Texas, Jonathan Timmons of College Station, Texas, Renee Spahr of Dover, Pennsylvania, Melissa Tolbert of Dover, Pennsylvania, Colton Bell of Dover, Pennsylvania, Michaela Bell-Shives of Fairbanks, Alaska, Stephen Bryant of Pearland, Texas and Jonathon Bryant of LaPorte, Texas and six great grandchildren, Robert "R.J." Burk, Abram Scarra, Katharine Scarra, Brody Tolbert, Dakota Tolbert and Olivia Spahr.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will follow in McKendree Cemetery near Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Robert Burk, Melissa Tolbert, Frank Tolbert, John Timmons, John Bryant and Stephen Bryant

"Rob" was a life-long friend, schoolmate and fellow church member of First Presbyterian Church in Paris in our youth. I loved him and his family. May bless his soul and comfort his family.

Sorry for your loss ! What a pleasure to work with Bob. I met him in 1975 at Shell and remained friends with him. He loved his great State of Arkansas and talked about it many times.
He will be missed!
