My aunt Veva has had a smile and laugh…that were simply unforgettable. I won’t go into all her gracious qualities…I will simply share my fondest memory of her and uncle Jay. They played “You are my Sunshine” on the piano for my mother. Veva was the sunshine in our world, and that light will never shine so brightly again.

My precious Aunt Veva was an amazing lady- - one of the most influential women in my life.
There was only ONE Veva Joy - - a beauty inside and out filled with kindness, love, faith, grace, dignity, poise and class.
Thank you Uncle Jay for bringing this Southern Belle into our Greenwood family for over 71 years.
How blessed we are to have been touched by her love. She lives on in our hearts and memories.

I will miss Veva. She was such a wonderful woman. There was no one like her and her late husband, JB. I send my condolences and prayers to Robin, Ben, Bobbie, and others who were close to Veva. I am thankful to have known her and to believe she is in Heaven worshipping the Lord with JB. She will be missed.
