Mr. Linn not only left his mark at Hughes High, but the many lives of the students he had such an influence on. He not only taught me, but my parents as well. I will never forget that plaster of Paris project of Antarctica in the 4th grade, that Joel and I worked on together with his dads help. The rest was history, beginning my love for art and doing projects that were above and beyond the norm. Something that I still carry on to this day. Sending my sincere condolences to Mrs. Linn, Amanda, Joel, and family.

I just want to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. He was a very strict teacher, and taught many difficult material lessons for his students. It sure made you learn something in his classes. He was a great teacher, and will be greatly missed. RIP Mr. LINN

My deepest sympathy to the Linn family. I will cherish the years spent with him in the Industrial Arts Building at HHS. He was a mentor to me and set the bar exceptionally high. Our community art shows were a huge event because of this man. Thank you, Mr. Linn. Well done!❤️

My prayers are with you. Lloyd was one of my shop teachers at Central High School in West Helena. I went on to become a shop teacher as well, taught at Central, and attended some state meetings together. We shared a couple of crazy stories from when I was in school. I noticed he was also a Master Gardener. We had also kept up with each other on Facebook. I pray for the family and those who knew this great man.
